History of Honeylight
Honeylight is a project founded by Mark Rubin that learns from how nature organizes energy, through plants, ecosystems, and bees, to rethink economics, education, and cooperation. honeylight.life is the main site of the Honeylight Universe.
Timeline
1985: Land deed recorded September 24, 1985, Hardy County, W. Va., Deed Book 187, Page 534.
June 2020: First honey bees.
June 21, 2022: First use of the Project Honeylight trademark in commerce, per the U.S. trademark record.
December 1, 2023: Beekeeping class with Mann Lake Bee Supply.
2025: Public launch sequence begins.
2027: Honeylight launches.
Goal
Create 10,000 new beekeepers by 2040.
